This moment felt straight out of a Disney movie 🏰✨

Jemma & Joe’s wedding entrance at was pure magic, Disney music, happy tears and the most beautiful energy in the room from this gorgeous happy couple 🫶

These are the moments I LOVE and feel so honoured to be a tiny part of 🤍

Also, was absolutely killing it (as always) with the wedding reception soundtrack/prep music. Moana was playing while we were setting up and it had us all in a good mood before the guests even arrived 💃

Hi lovely people 🤍

It’s been a little quiet on our socials lately, but behind the scenes we’ve been deep in setup mode creating some really beautiful moments

Including not one… but TWO proposals at the iconic Pole House recently 🌊

For any new faces, I’m Vanessa, the heart behind A Simple Wish Events. I work alongside my amazing team member Maddi and together we style proposals, picnics, backdrops and special celebrations all across Geelong and surrounds.

Most of our Thurs to Sundays are spent on the road delivering and setting up jobs and during the week I'm juggling admin, quotes and mum life. This past month I’ve also been by my husband’s side while he’s been in and out of hospital, so I really appreciate everyone’s patience with replies 🩷

So many beautiful setups from the past few months coming your way soon and I can’t wait to share them 🤍

Replies may take up to 3 to 5 business days during our busy season.

All confirmed bookings are locked in and running as planned. Our team will be in touch where needed.

If you’re waiting on an invoice, your date is temporarily pencilled in. Once your invoice is sent, your booking is fully secured when the booking fee is paid. We’re unable to hold dates without a deposit, particularly across our most sought-after summer dates. Please also note the due date on your invoice and ensure final payment is received by that time.

This little business helps me support my family and I’m so grateful to get to do what I love whilst raising our kids here in Geelong.

We had the pleasure of styling this bright and fun hens day for Zoe at 💐

We used our white window arch with “Bride to Be” neon, custom “Almost Mrs Stevens” arch and bright faux florals to tie in with the table flowers. Such a simple combo, but it created the perfect spot for photos all afternoon. We love getting to see everyone enjoying the backdrop, thank you to our lovely client Steph for sharing these gorgeous snaps 🤍

We brought a touch of ASW cold spark magic to the end of the Deakin University Vice-Chancellor’s Awards last week ✨

Cold sparks aren’t only for weddings. They work perfectly for corporate events, awards nights and launches, or any moment where you want the room to lift and finish on a high ⭐

Graduation season for all our little cuties 🎓🥹

One of my beautiful friends and one of ASW’s biggest supporters .with.the.dyers hired our acrylic sign, easel, mesh backdrop and the tiniest graduation robe to create the sweetest photo spot for her daughter’s kinder graduation catch up. Such a simple idea but it made the moment so special, because it reminds you to actually stop and capture these memories to look back on 📸
