A little throwback to the Tesselaar Kabloom Flower Festival 💐
We spent the day wandering through gorgeous flower fields, taking lots of photos of Rufus and soaking up the little moments of sunshine. 🌸

Took a bit of a social media break for May, but I did lots of personal achievements that I’ll share soon 😊

Easter may have been a month ago… but it took me a little while to make use of some of my chocolate wrappers 😊
It was fun to pick out the foils and lay them out, and I learnt that foil is slippery when cutting it. 🌸

If you know me, you know soft toys have always been my thing, Benny included🧸
So bringing a few new Plushie Dreadfuls into the crew felt very right.
Each one represents different mental health struggles, chronic illnesses, neurodivergence and hidden experiences. They’re small reminders that I’m not alone, and a little extra comfort when I need it.
Soft toys are for everyone. We all deserve a soft, cuddly friend.🌸

Mini and Big!!
Only took me over a year to complete this pair😂
But they look amazing together, the little guy is living on my desk and you might have spotted the plush version in my market set ups.
Also the little guy has little sparkles in the yarn, which are so pretty but aren’t really visible on camera ☹️
But they both weren’t too hard to make and maybe I need to make some more dragons… 🌸

I had a lovely time this past Saturday! The rain managed to stay away and there were moments of sunlight ☀️
Thank you to everyone who came up and chatted with me I had so many lovely and interesting conversations!
And a big thank you to my amazing helpers (better known as my parents and support worker 😊) who help me manage every bit of the day.🌸

It’s the end of April so better show what my April spreads look like 😊
Mixed in some more stickers and tired writing in different fonts for this month. I really love how the leaf collage came out although it took a lot of time!
Which page is your favourite?🌸

I’ll be at this Saturday (2nd of May)!!
Come say hi if you’re around, it’s looking to be a nice day with lots of different stalls.
I’ll have my usual band of crochet plushies with some new and old additions. 🌸

How cute is this guy?!
A special request from one of my market customers. It is a character called Glep from smiling friends.
I was lucky to find someone had a base pattern for this dude but I modified it quite a bit and worked back and forth on the rows to get the right shape and proportions.
I also got to use cozy cloud lite yarn from Which is amazing!! So easy to frog and feels so soft on my hands!! 🌸

I didn’t post on the day, but my autistic experience doesn’t neatly fit into one moment anyway.
April is Autism Awareness month and a couple of days ago was World Autism Acceptance day and Go Yellow for Autism Acceptance.
For me every day, every hour, every minute can feel different. Some moments are chaotic, some are joyful, some are soft, some are overwhelming, and all of them are real.
These clips are of my everyday autistic life when I find joy and have fun at my own pace with some of the supports I use.
Autism isn’t a one month issue but something that affects people everyday of every year, but I hope people use this month to learn more and support every one with their unique and individual experiences. 🌸

The colour palette and what I made with it!
I initially thought these wouldn’t look too good together but they actually look really pretty together. And the features of these triceratops work well with the colours. 🤩🌸
