We are proud to share the successful completion of Project “Safe in School”.

Funded through the support of the Thrift for Good community, this initiative has transformed school facilities to create a safer, healthier and more inclusive environment for children in Nepal.

The completed project now directly supports:
• 155 students
• 7 teachers
• 162 local community members
• 800+ indirect beneficiaries

Key improvements include:
✔️ Access to clean drinking water
✔️ Child-friendly handwashing facilities
✔️ Separate toilets for girls and boys
✔️ Improved accessibility and hygiene standards

Beyond infrastructure, these changes are already improving school attendance, dignity, health outcomes and community trust in education.

This impact is only possible because of every donor, shopper, volunteer and partner who continues to support Thrift for Good’s mission of creating brighter futures for children around the world.

At our special Mend for Good session for Mother’s Day, our volunteers showed up, stitched, repaired, and gave these pieces a second life, ready to head back to our stores and be loved again.
